Armed Response

Blue Armed Response and Blue Tactical Officers were immediately dispatched and made contact with the homeowner. It was confirmed that suspects had attempted to steal the client’s vehicle but were disturbed and fled the scene before completing the theft.
A coordinated area search was initiated across Chatsworth, with units monitoring key routes and utilising community emergency communication platforms to gather further intelligence.
Shortly thereafter, information was received regarding an active vehicle theft in the Montford area involving a white Nissan NP200. Blue Security units responded swiftly, blocking potential escape routes and locating the stolen vehicle.
A pursuit followed, during which the suspects lost control of the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. The vehicle was successfully secured; however, the suspects managed to evade apprehension.
Chatsworth SAPS attended the scene and took over the matter for further investigation. The vehicle owner was advised to follow up with SAPS to continue the formal investigative process.
This incident highlights the effectiveness of rapid response, coordinated tactical deployment, and strong community information-sharing in preventing vehicle-related crime and minimising losses.
