Swift Tactical Response Prevents Business Break-In
At approximately 02:39, the Control Room received a report of suspicious activity at a business premises, where three suspects were observed attempting to unlawfully gain entry.
Rapid Deployment and Suspect Apprehension
Blue Security Tactical officers, together with response units, were immediately dispatched to the area. Upon arrival, the suspects fled on foot. Members pursued the suspects, resulting in the successful apprehension of one suspect in a nearby park. The suspect was escorted back to the business premises.
Forced Entry and Damage Identified
A thorough inspection revealed that entry had been gained by climbing over the rear boundary wall after the electric fence was cut. Damage was observed to a left-side kitchen window and a left-side office window. A vehicle jack was used to force open the burglar bars, and the internal security gates were cut with an angle grinder in an attempt to access the premises
Incident Handed Over to SAPS
The client will conduct a full inventory to determine whether any items were taken. SAPS attended the scene and assumed control of the incident for further investigation.
