Robbery Alert Received in Moorton Area
Blue Security Tactical Teams were alerted to a robbery involving a weapon in the Moorton area of Chatsworth. Acting swiftly, the tactical officers followed up on critical leads indicating that the suspects’ vehicle had been sighted in the Bluff area.
Joint Investigation and Ongoing Surveillance
Over the following days, officers worked tirelessly alongside the SAPS MDOC Unit, SAPS Chatsworth Detectives, and YT Security. The joint teams conducted extensive follow-ups, information gathering, and prolonged observation operations to track the movements of the suspects.
Suspects Located and Apprehended
On 10 December 2025, the suspects’ vehicle was successfully located—fitted with false number plates in an attempt to conceal its identity. Two suspects linked to the robbery were apprehended, detained, and the vehicle used in the commission of the crime was seized for further investigation.
