Qin Shi Huang was the first Emperor of China and ascended to the throne at the age of 13. His death remains a mystery, though many believe he was killed by someone within his ranks. Loyalists of Qin Shin Huang honoured him in his afterlife with the Terracotta Army. The exhibition featuring the Terracotta Army and the First Emperor of China explores the country as it was in 209 BC, and serves up an unmissable slice of Ancient China.

The terracotta soldiers have all faithfully been reproduced by Chinese craftsmen from the excavation region, with a particular consideration for details in order to maintain the same beauty and originality of the original works. The Terracotta Army and the First Emperor of China is the most painstaking recreation of the exhibition the world over, and includes over 300 replica warriors, chariots and the emperor’s tomb itself.

The exhibition opened at Gateway Mall on the 18th of March, and will be on display until the 29th of May 2016.
