Trespasser arrested in Botha’s Hill

A trespasser was apprehended in Botha’s Hill earlier today when we were contacted by one of our clients residing in Rob Roy Crescent, who stated that there was a suspicious vehicle parked on his property.
Armed response officer Marshall arrived on the scene and noted a silver Toyota parked next to a workshop on the premises, with a male occupant inside. Marshall questioned the suspect as to his presence on the property, and he claimed that he was looking for his cows. According to the suspect he resides in Ambo and his cattle allegedly crossed onto the client’s property from an unfenced section at the back.
However, the resident recognised the suspect as a trespasser that he had warned not to enter his property without permission on a previous occasion. A Botha’s Hill neighbourhood watch member searched the suspect’s vehicle and found a packet containing dagga.
The suspect, along with the uncovered items, was secured and handed over to Hillcrest SAPS who attended the scene.
