Two Suspects Apprehended in Yellowwood Park
Blue Security’s Community Command Centre received a call from a client in Wagtail Walk, Yellowwood Park, who reported seeing two suspects on his property via CCTV footage. Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched to provide backup.
On arrival, the officers conducted a search of the premises and discovered two suspects inside the client’s garage, actively stripping electrical cables. The property also contained two broken-down vehicles where additional cables had been removed.
During the investigation, a second resident approached our area supervisor and confirmed that the same suspects had earlier been spotted on his property as well.
Items Recovered
The suspects were found in possession of three bags containing:

Light fittings
-
A fishing tackle set

A screwdriver
-
Various other items

One toy firearm
Response and Arrest
Both suspects were apprehended on scene by our officers. They had gained entry by jumping over the property’s front right-hand side fence.
Montclair SAPS attended the scene, represented by Sergeant Bouvary and Constable Mdletshe. The suspects, along with the recovered property, were taken to the police station for processing, with assistance from the client and our Area Supervisor.
