Two suspects arrested for theft in Springfield Park

Two suspects were arrested for theft in Springfield Park last week Friday, when reaction officer Eric responded to an alarm activation at a business premises in Willowfield Crescent.
When he arrived and conducted a check on the property he spotted two males fleeing the scene. He immediately gave chase and managed to apprehend both of them. In their possession they had two reels of copper pipes that they had stolen.
Inspecting the property after he detained the suspects, Eric found that they had gained entry by breaking a window at the rear of the building and forcing metal sheeting.
Greenwood Park SAPS attended the scene and took the suspects into custody.
